Five Things Friday

Happy Weekend and National Pizza Day!  In case you didn't know, this celebratory holiday known as National Pizza Day falls on February 9th...as if we need another reason to eat pizza.  Whether you prefer thin crust, hand tossed, or deep dish, pizza is something everyone can enjoy.  Today on 5 things Friday, all 5 things will involve PIZZA.

Express your love for pizza with this adorable heart-shaped clutch by Studio DIY.  This is available with the Can't Clutch This subscription where you'll receive a brand-new clutch exclusively designed by Kelly each month.

Lastly, we have my favorite pizza place in St. Louis.

{whatever wednesday}

Easter weekend is upon us!  Time to get ready for Easter brunch, Peeps, bunnies, chickies, bonnets and dresses, Starburst Jelly Beans, and my personal favorite:  the day after candy sale!  Also, I'm attending my FIRST Adult Easter Egg Hunt this year, which I'm pretty stoked about.  I'm sure there will be photos grammed and Snapchats a plenty, so you can follow the fun there.  I just started Snapchat for the 5th time, so you can follow me at flamingo314 if you're a Snapchatter as well.  I will warn you that I'm new, so my snapping skills are still at a beginner level.  On to this week's {whatever wednesday} of gold eggs, pretty pastel desserts, and Easter style libations.  Hippity hop, hope you have a wonderful Easter Weekend!

{whatever wednesday} Independence Day

Independence Day.  A day for cookouts, friends, family, and the big event: FIREWORKS.  Whether you're heading to a party, hosting a party, or just want to do a little something patriotic to celebrate America the beautiful, here's some food, decor ideas and other 4th of July inspiration to get those creative juices flowing.  Do you have any 4th of July traditions?  Have a Fabulous Fourth!

Start with Flag Foods

Create a flag with blueberrys and sliced bananas and strawberries.

 Or opt for white chocolate colored pretzels instead of the bananas.
Another idea that would be cute is to dye a fruit dip blue and place that in a square container instead of the blueberries :)

Say so long to the ketchup and mustard.  Get creative and dress those dogs up with tastier toppings, such as grilled pineapple or mac and cheese.

Cheers to Lady Liberty!

Decorate in Red, White, and Blue
