Monochrome color contrast.  Simply put, I swoon over dramatic, dark wall colors.  The combination with the white bedding is perfect.  The watercolor pattern on the lampshade and pillow add dimension and texture.  The rug adds the cozy feel.  The only part of the room I'm not too crazy about is the window treatment.  I probably would have preferred a white, ruffle curtain (unless you're trying to add a touch of masculinity to the room).  What is your take on this bedroom?

Shoesday Tuesday

Seriously swooning over these sexy and strappy suede pumps.  Navy blue, delicate straps, and pointed toe, these shoes can be worn during office hours, for date nights, and would fit flawlessly for a fall wedding.

Look to love:  Luxe Industrial.  A bare, concrete room is elegantly contrasted with classic antique artwork and furniture.  A wall of windows allow for a sufficient amount of light, while the pattern floor softens the slate room and adds visual interest.

Black booties that are anything but basic.  Being a huge fan of black and gold together, and little details such as the cutout heel, these booties are a MUST on my fall fashion wishlist.

Lately, I've been drooling over the modern rustic decorating style.  The clean, straight lines combined with fur accents create a cozy, yet calming and clear mood.  There's texture and and interest, but it's not busy or cluttered.  The low, reclaimed coffee table on wheels is unique, peaking interest and easy to move for entertaining purposes.  What do you think of this room?  Do you like the boho modern style?

Design Inspiration Monday

Most homes are centered around the kitchen, since it is typically the room with all the action.  Not only is it used for preparing and cooking food, but also entertaining guests and family meals.  Rustic decor looks like its been around for centuries.  The distressed worktable with casters makes it simple to move it as needed.  Unpolished silver on the walls and open shelving flawlessly suit the rustic design.
